A PERSONAL MESSAGE TO MY MANY FANS

Hi, this is Ed Gauthier, speaking to you from below a rather poorly-altered public domain photo.

(I look exactly like that, except I don't wear a pin-stripe suit or a watch, and have always been a non-smoker.)

Most of you mainly know me as a longtime alternative press writer and artist from L.A. County, whose stuff has appeared in the L.A. Free Press, the L.A. Weekly, the L.A. Star, and just about anything else with "L.A." in the title. Well, I've also produced my formerly print-only Mr. Ed Weirdo strip as a comic on the worldwide web - a "webcomic," if you will.

In other news, for giving my site over a half million hits as of this month, I'd like to thank each and every one of you personally.

Of course, nobody could ever accomplish such an impossible feat, due to the basic physics and logistics of literally seeking out and thanking face to face every single online visitor in the world. I mean c'mon, people!
